We are thrilled to be part of the team taking this project towards a planning application, following acquisition of the site by Torry Development Trust and Grampian Housing Association. The proposal is to maintain and convert the existing school buildings into affordable housing along with some space for use by the community. New-build elements placed on the site will also accommodate additional homes and a nursery, and renewed landscaping will complete the development.

Our first public consultations have already taken place, on 5th September at Torry Youth and Leisure Centre, and on 7th September at Old Torry Community Centre. These events provided an opportunity to showcase the project development to date, with valuable feedback received on the current design proposal.

A consultation event is an essential part of the design process, in particular for a project having this historical significance within the local community.
