We are providing the architectural services for DMA’s offshoot development company Chattan Estates to construct 17 affordable homes for Grampian Housing Association in Peterhead. Set in a vacant site on Windmill Street at the edge of the town centre, the new 4 storey timber frame building will have a positive impact upon the area and help the town’s regeneration aspirations.

After years of working with developers, DMA have created a business model which, in conjunction with the site owner, facilitates the construction and delivery of a turnkey package for the housing association, consisting of 17 high quality, energy efficient, generously sized 2 bedroom flats. This model is something that can be rolled out to other sites to facilitate the delivery of much needed affordable housing. Ground has been broken and the first tenants will be moving in in the autumn of 2018.
