This development property, a replacement house in a highly sought after residential area, was completed in early 2015.  Our client had a specific vision, which was to achieve the appearance and grandeur of a traditionally built two-storey dwelling, with all the internal space and features sought by today’s high end house purchasers, balanced and well proportioned within the constraints of the sloping site.

 

Every aspect of the house was painstakingly considered, with attention to detail being of paramount importance.  The limited footprint gave scope for architectural ingenuity to maximise use of space, resulting in the lower ground floor double garage and the surprising third floor den in the attic.  The result is a family home with pleasing symmetry, an integral garage which doesn’t steal attention away from the main façade, an attractive paved terrace, an abundance of generously proportioned, well lit rooms incorporating luxury fittings and a beautifully landscaped garden.
