This project encompassed the internal refurbishment of an existing under-used storage space in the HQ of C-FINE, a food initiative charity, to create a community kitchen. 

 

The potential of the space was unlocked by the introduction of high level roof windows to flood the room with natural daylight, and the exposed steel structure was refurbished to reinforce the character of the space. 

 

Eight kitchen workstations have been introduced along with a central communal space where the budding chefs can all congregate to taste the fruits of their labour.
