David Murray Associates was commissioned in 2011 to fully refurbish the second floor of the Carmelite Hotel, located in Aberdeen City Centre. This was a fabulous opportunity to work from a blank canvas, reconfiguring the guest rooms to their best advantage and transforming them into truly luxurious, relaxing spaces in a distinctly contemporary, retro style.

 

This was achieved through use of imaginative colour schemes, incorporating ‘feature walls’ with Natasha Marshall wall coverings and through specification of high quality designer furniture and luxury soft furnishings in bold and contrasting fabrics.
